Want to see my scar?

This is a picture my Mom just took of my belly. You can't even see the scar from my surgery. It's just above the bottom of the picture and under my little belly button. (My mouth is all red from eating some red bell pepper this morning with breakfast)

My Parents are making payments for the surgery, it was very expensive. If you have it in your heart please click my PayPal donation button below. Any amount will help and be greatly appreciated. To those of you who have already donated, Thank you!

Back in the Cage

I am finally done with my meds and am back in the big cage with my Brothers. At first there was A LOT of rumble strutting and teeth chattering, but things have calmed down now. This morning my Mom bought us a huge flexible plastic tube and we have been running through that all day. My incision looks really good, Mom is still cleaning it once a day. She was going to get a picture of it for my blog but her camera's batteries are dead :(

After the Surgery

I am home recuperating from my surgery. The vet said that the stone he removed from my bladder was bigger than some of the stones he has removed from dogs! As you can see from the picture above it was pretty big. I am on 3 different medications to help me get better and I have about an inch long incision on my belly. I am eating well and peeing and pooping like normal. I can finally pee without it hurting. I am being kept in a separate cage from my Brothers on towels until I am done with my meds.

My Story

Hi I'm Guido, often called the Señor Boar. I am a Male Teddy Guinea Pig and I am about 2 and a half years old. I am a very friendly and happy Guinea Pig but recently I haven't been feeling too well. I have a large stone in my bladder that is making it very painful for me to urinate. I need surgery to have this stone removed. The surgery is expensive but it will save my life. I am trying to come up with the money to pay for my surgery because my family cannot afford to do so. My family loves me very much and is working hard to find a way to save my life.

If you have it in your heart please click my PayPal donation button below. Any amount will help and be greatly appreciated, as I have had trouble coming up with the funds on my own.
